Certification is a significant achievement for
dealership service and technician personnel. It demonstrates
that the service and technician personnel have the additional
knowledge, ability, and skills needed to improve customer satisfaction.
Certification can lead to a higher level of professionalism, increased
employee retention, and greater dealership profitability. The
modern RV customer demands professionalism in all aspects of the
dealership experience and recognizes certification programs as an
indication of professionalism.
Certification is valid for five years and may be
renewed upon completion of the required continuing education, or through
retesting. Certification and recertification fees vary. The
certification programs test and certify individuals; not
dealerships, companies, or other types of business entities.

Writer/Advisor
Minimum qualifications: All currently employed RV Service
Writer/Advisors, persons working in management and administration, and
persons currently working in the RV Industry/Dealership that have a
minimum of 12 months work experience in RV service or service related
industry experience.

Manager
Minimum qualifications: All currently employed RV Service Managers,
persons working in management and administration, and persons currently
working in the RV Industry/Dealership that have a minimum of 24 months
work experience in RV service or service related industry
experience.

Warranty
Administrator
Minimum qualifications: All currently employed RV Warranty
Administrators, persons working in management and administration, and
persons currently working in the RV Industry/Dealership that have a
minimum of 12 months work experience in RV warranty
administration or service related industry experience.

Service
Technician
The RV Service Technician Certification Program is designed to assist
the RV Industry and the public in identifying those professionals who
have demonstrated the knowledge and ability to satisfy established
standards in RV diagnostic and repair procedures, as adopted by the
Governing board.
