A Special Message from RVDA Chairman of the Board
Larry Troutt
Like me, many RV dealers are looking forward to taking a break from
survival mode and getting together during the first full week of October
at the RVDA Convention in Las Vegas.
All the RVDA leaders will be there to review what's happened to our
industry and talk about how we can begin the process of rebuilding our
businesses.
The convention fee is affordable, airline tickets are cheaper right
now than ever, and the $95 room cost at the Rio is a great deal for such
a quality, suites hotel. The Board of Directors feels this will be
the most important convention in RVDA history. Many manufacturer
meetings have been cancelled or significantly scaled back, so the RVDA
convention will be the only opportunity for all of the industry to get
together and talk about some of the issues facing the RV business.
The workshops will focus on acquiring floorplan financing, getting
more buyers qualified, sales, Red Flag compliance, and new products and
services we can sell to add to the bottom line. Brand committees
will also be meeting and, with the state of manufacturing, they will be
more important than ever this year.
Remember the convention is about a week later this year, October
6-9. If you register by August 7, you’ll save money with the
early-bird rate – which is $524 for the first person and $458 for
the second person.
What do you think? Can I count on seeing you there? To

Thanks for your support!
