The RV Learning Center offers dealers two distance
learning courses that help train and prepare RV service
technicians for RVDA-RVIA Technician Certification
testing. The courses cover the skills and tasks that
a certified RV technician is expected to be able to perform, and
feature a 200+ question practice test that helps assess
the technician's preparedness for certification.
The interactive RV Technician Certification Preparation
Course is designed to keep technicians engaged while
learning. Developed by the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association and
sold exclusively by the RV Learning Center, the course
offers interesting video explanations, audio voiceover, onscreen
text, graphical representations of concepts, quizzes, and a mentor-led
technician community discussion forum. Seventy-nine percent of RV
technicians who completed the course passed the RVDA-RVIA Technician
Certification test, compared to 61 percent of technicians who did not
use the course to prepare for the test.* Registration is $249
per technician and offers the technician access to the
course for 12 months (no extensions). Quantity discounts are
available when registering four or more techs at one time. Download the registration form. For more
information, read the FAQ, e-mail info@rvda.org, or call the dealer
services hotline. Registered and have your username and
password? Click

video about completing the course.
The Distance Learning Network's RV Technician Certification
Preparation Course is designed for mentor-based, group training
programs. Subscription to the online program includes unlimited access
by dealership staff to more than forty 90-minute training sessions,
reviews, and test preparation sections. Learners may access the
instructional content at any time, whenever and wherever they have a
computer with high-speed Internet, and as directed by their
supervisors or mentors. Watch snips from a sampling of
the training sessions. The Distance Learning Network was developed
with the help of experienced RV professionals, and adult education
experts at the RV Training Institute at Florida Gateway College. FRVTA
and the RV Training Institute provides dealers' mentors with best
practices and support and hosts an annual mentor training
workshop at the RV Dealers International Convention/Expo. A subscription
is $995 per dealership location. The 12-month term
runs August 1 - July 31; a dealership may subscribe at
any time during the term. Download the registration form.

RV Service Technician Certification
The RV Service Technician Certification program is designed to
assist the RV industry and the public in identifying those professionals
who have demonstrated the knowledge and ability to satisfy established
standards in RV diagnostic and repair procedures, as adopted by the
Governing Board. The program tests and certifies only individuals; not
dealerships, companies, or other types of business entities. The test is
designed to evaluate both the general and specific knowledge in the 12
duties and 75 tasks deemed necessary by the Industry to be a Certified
Technician. Visit www.rvtechnician.com for more
information about technician certification and an application.
